The Ocean Lawn at Waimea Plantation Cottages came alive with the sound of music at our get-together this past weekend thanks to Cyril Pahinui and Peter Moon Jr, with support from Charlie Iona and Wes Kaui. The halau from Niihau was outstanding, with a couple of budding ukulele artists also performing. The food was ono, the audience was great, and setting was perfect on a moon-lit eve. Guests even could get a lomi-lomi as they enjoyed the outdoor concert.
